
CREATIVE PRACTICE
Ally Ibach is a multi-disciplinary creator with a background in solo performance, devised work, and theatre & film production. Ally creates a space for various mediums of artwork to be shared and to start conversations.
SOLO PERFORMANCE
At the University of Exeter's Drama program, Ally trained in Solo Performance with Dr. Sarah Goldingay. Ally later worked alongside Dr. David White to assistant teach Solo Performance in Towson University's B.F.A. Acting Program. Credits include Paris, Ted Talks from Outer Space on Hard Drugs (Film) (Theatre: Site Specific at Please Do Vibe) and Midnight Cowboy Radio (Theatre) (Edinburgh Fringe & Off-West End at the Bread & Roses Theatre). The show premiered in the US, Off-off Broadway at the Secret Theatre (NY), where it was a Semi-Finalist in the Act One, One Act Festival and was part of Baltimore Center Stage's Inaugural "Locally Grown Festival." It most recently premiered Off-Broadway at Theatre Row, with United Solo.
PRODUCING FILM & THEATRE
Ally started producing work at the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic with The World is Ending and Maybe That's Kinda Hot by Catherine Weingarten. Ally has independently produced film and theatre work ever since! Credits include Read the Room: A Virtual Cabaret, directed by Tyrel Brown and Bearface by Darcy Fowler. Ally is currently developing a pilot on the young life of prolific poet, Sylvia Plath called Lady Lazarus.

7 hot young people gather in a generic meadow in Italy to hang and tell stories and hit on each other. They are like all kinda freaked/not in the bestt space though cause they just escaped the Black Plague, like no big deal cause they’re safe now…or are they??

Marie is having a crisis of her reality; asshole fiancé, struggling career, and a dead mom. Who could blame her for having a drink or two or six? One night after a fight and a drink too many, Marie throws up in her apartment bathroom but when she lifts her head from the toilet, she’s in a whole new decade with a very friendly and familiar stranger in the next stall over.
